Description
Two apartments located in an elegant and fully restored environment and have a private courtyard. Moreover, the building has a private entrance and overlooks the entire Rio San Severo (canal).
The second apartment is on the first floor, comprises entrance hall, bathroom with shower, bedroom with two single beds, bedroom with double bed , open space with kitchen equipped with all utensils and equipped with fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave sofa, TV and various furniture. The apartment is equipped with central heating, air conditioning, free wi-fi, washing machine.
The apartments are located in the largest Sestiere of the city, Castello district , which is adjacent to Piazza San Marco. In the area there are many beautiful churches of Venice including La Pietà, well known in the Baroque for its fertile musical activity, San Zaccaria and San Giorgio dei Greci, up to that of Saints John and Paul: the largest Gothic church in Venice.
On the side facing the southern part of the lagoon is the Riva degli Schiavoni, one of the most beautiful and characteristic streets of Venice which, thanks to the Ponte della Paglia, connects Castello with Piazza San Marco.
Castello is connected to Cannaregio district through the bridge of Saints John and Paul which, in front of the homonymous basilica, crosses Mendicanti canal just a few steps from the monument to Bartolomeo Colleoni del Verrocchio.
In the northern part of the Sestiere di Castello, we find the shipyards with their famous museum that overlooked the stretch between via Garibaldi and the gardens of the Biennale to create an ideal extension of the riva degli Schiavoni, originally called "riva dell'Impero" ". Today this section is called ‘’Riva dei sette martiri’’. We find the Arsenale of the Venice Biennale as well as the two schools, San Giorgio degli Schiavoni and Scuola Grande di San Marco. The latter was readapted by Napoleon in a military hospital and is still the location of the civil city hospital of Saints John and Paul, so called because it is based on the basilica of the same name.
