This very bright top floor apartment, which boasts a large rooftop terrace with an amazing view over buildings and monuments, is a charming property located in a recently renovated 19th Century building in the historic centre of Palermo.
Our apartment is located on the third floor of a building, easily reachable by lift. The entrance gives way to a large living area made of a living room, provided with sofa and armchairs situated nearby the marble fireplace, and a bright dining area with dining table and chairs. Here, guests can taste delicious meals prepared in the adjacent and fully equipped kitchen, coming with an oven, microwave and dishwasher. The sleeping area consists of two bedrooms: the first, fitted with a queen-sized bed, boasts an ensuite bathroom while the latter has a French-sized bed. Another full bathroom completes the floor.
The added value is given by the large terrace overlooking the surrounding rooftops and historical monuments, that can be found walking up the staircase in the living area. Equipped with barbecue and furnished with a gazebo and ornamental plants, is the ideal space for breakfast moments, relaxing or enjoying dinners full of atmosphere. Our top floor apartment is located in the heart of the historical Kalsa neighborhood, just few stones away from the Foro Italico seafront meadows, the "Cala" marina with its cafes and ice-cream parlours, and close to many historical monuments and cultural sites as Palazzo Steri, the Abatellis Museum and many others. Just outside the front door of the building you can mingle in the heart of the oldest Palermo district: alleys and squares, noble monuments and churches, clashing in harmony and contradiction with local market stalls, with their colours, aromas and flavours, including some of the city's best street food, and finally the city cultural soul of museums and theatres. Finally, at walking distance from our apartment you can choose among several restaurants and find yourself at ease both if you are looking for gourmet dining and for a typical local "trattoria".
Our apartment is less than 15 minutes walking distance from the main railway station, where guests will also find the bus stop for the airport shuttle. Before your arrival, we will send you more information on places to go, what to see and taste. Please do not hesitate to ask!
